What should I do... Please Help~~

Hellooo everyone ;~;
I'm not exactly sure who will read my journal entries because it's very not like me to post something on Deviant Art.
But... I really don't know what to do now and I was wondering if people could give me some opinions~?
I used to be quite active on here with purchasing adoptables and requesting commissions from amazing artists~
It's understandable that artists might take some time to finish one piece of art and i'm really not the type to rush anyone and bother them too much. Because I want to give that artist respect and let them work at their own pace. I do also understand that they are very busy or just not inspired for awhile.. So I would always ask the artists to take their time and I won't rush them.
But when months go by... and I don't hear anything from them or just a simple update, that's when i'm really not sure what I should do..
Like I see them being active and posting art but there's just no update at all about the commission I have ordered.
There's a few i'm waiting for right now for about 6+ months now and a few for over a year.. I've sent a note to them asking how it is.. but I get no reply most of the time :/
Idk guys.. ;~; I don't wanna be rude and keep noting them and bothering them.. Even if it wasn't done..
